First Finals

This was Kerry's first VHSA Associate Finals. We were so thrilled to get a third in Childrens Hunter. She had only gone to a handful of shows that year so even though it was the close of one year, this was actually a perfect kick off for us to the 2004 calendar year. We couldn't wait to get started.

Focus

Kerry is a great student with excellent focus on course. She always knew her plan and executed it to the 'nth'. I love her and Cinders' expression in this picture.

Looking to the Next Jump

This was the day Cinders qualified not only Kerry for VHSA Medal Finals but also Codi. Kerry did the Childrens Medal and Codi did the Adult Medal. Such a good mare!!

Upperville 2004

Super Show Mom

Maggie, Kerry's mom was the Uber Show Mom. She stood shoulder to shoulder with me to learn about what she was seeing. She braided, she hauled, she packed, she set up, you name it, she was on it. She always had great stories and insights and I really don't think I ever saw her in a bad mood. We all covered some serious miles in Blue, the Yukon and I will truly miss our times together. Hats off to you, Mags.

Outside Course

This was Kerry's first time on the outside course at Dondoric Farm. The class was part of the Summerplace Farm Invitational, a beautifully run show we all enjoy attending.

The End of a Great Year

The Summerplace Invitational was one of our last shows of the year. We'd pushed so hard all year - - in fact, I think we went to another show right after this one that day! But towards the end, it was easier for us to relax a little and take a look back at our accomplishments.
