PHOTO ALBUMS

Alyssa is an aspiring photographer and she's headed to Rochester Institute of Technology in the fall to pursue that interest.  I've loaned her my camera from time to time for some of her projects and introduced her to Peggy Smith, who is not only a great photographer, she's a wonderful person.  Peggy let Alyssa tag along with her at a few shows, showed her the ropes and let her use one of her cameras.  The first albums that Alyssa put together on our Shutterfly photo site were pictures from a show she attended with Peggy.  I ended up selecting one of the photos (of an unknown rider, I might add!) and having beautiful note cards made from it. 

I remember when Peggy first started her business at our little shows in the area.  That was back when I was going to shows with Liz and Codi and there was hardly a show we didn't hit.  So, at each one, we'd look for Peggy and thumb through her photo albums and buy her pictures like fiends.  Now, she's one of the most sought after show photographers at our biggest shows in Virginia.  It is my sincere wish that the little leg ups from people like Peggy, will get Alyssa on her way to making a little money at something she loves doing.  This is just a little start....
